Swimmer of the Month for May The AG1 swimmer of the month for May is Bennet Kelly. Bennet moved up groups at the beginning of the LC season and never looked back. He and a few others had over 95% attendance, but Bennet stood out because of his willingness to learn. One of my philosophies in swimming, when you learn how to master your "weakest" stroke/event, you open the door for learning that can be applied to your "best" stroke/event. Bennet is a leader of this practice and is setting...

April AG1 Great first long-course meet. We faced a monumental challenge coming into the meet and handled it with poise and maturity! Leading up to this meet, we had a single one-hour workout in long course meters, and we still achieved so many best times and regionals/state cuts. A lot of this success is the attention to detail: swimming tall and long, focusing on what you can do to maximize each event, racing into turns and exploding off the walls, and the amazing use of our legs. Everyone was excited...

Gold Medal Swim Club finished first in women and third overall at the Four Corners Sectionals in Austin, Texas. The women showed their dominence by winning by over 250 points against much larger teams from the Four Corners area. The men, who are smaller in numbers contributed significantly to our overall third place team finish. Almost every Gold Medal swimmer achieved at least on best time during the meet, with many achieving multiple best times. The team had 24 relay splits on the last night of the meet and 21...
