Swimmers from Gold, Silver, Youth A/B, Alligator, Crocodile, Gecko A/B, and Salamander A/B participated in this event as a way to familiarize themselves with how a swim meet would run. The meet was hosted by the Richmond Rapids at Watermania. This was a big swim meet with more than 200 swimmers, and it's one of the largest meets our developmental swimmers have been to. The meet was hosted by Canadian Dolphins Swim Club at the Vancouver Aquatic Center, and as usual these were three long days of racing for our gator athletes. Over 550 swimmers from BC and other provinces made big splashes at the Saanich Commonwealth Pool. The preliminaries were run on both the West and East side of the pool, and the results from both sides were combined to generate the top 8 or 16 swimmers for the finals.
