By Agatha Leung On June 2nd and 3rd, 42 Senior, Age and Junior swimmers attended LMR Championships hosted by Langley Olympians. Swimmers arrived at Walnut Grove Community Centre, bright and early, and were eager to get their day started. Gators performed wonderfully on both days, dominating the competition and ranking first out of nine clubs. LMR Champs was the last meet of the season for many swimmers. 2023 Summer Program Registration Overview and Guidelines We are offering two summer programs for our current members and new swimmers this summer. Summer Clinic  Summer Clinic is for current non-competitive groups (Gold, Silver, Bronze, Alligators, Crocodiles, Gecko and Salamander) and new swimmers. It focuses on improving the technique of 4 strokes and basic swimming skills. The clinic will be run 10 classes/2 weeks per session (Monday to Friday), total 8 sessions throughout July and August. Although, we did not bring a lot of other clubs during this meet, 73 Gators swimmers showed their energy and cheered each other during the individual event and relays. By Agatha Leung On April 15th and 16th, Gators attended the PSW Spring Invitational at Grandview Heights Aquatic Centre. Swimmers were excited to race in a new facility to showcase their improvement from their hard work in training. Gators finished strong and achieved 192 new best times this weekend! Swimmers took the time between events to cheer for each other, listen to uplifting music, boost morale, and bond with other swimmers from different groups and clubs. By Alexander Wen, On April 16th, swimmers in our developmental and pre-competitive groups (Gold, Silver, Bronze, Alligator, Crocodile A/B/C) attended the 2023 Gators Developmental Meet. It was a great experience and introduction to meets for our young swimmers, and it was very energetic, with Gators cheering on our team in all of the events.
