Radnor Aquatic Club
Head of Development

Radnor Aquatic Club is searching for a candidate to lead our Development program. Our Developmental 
program consists of 2 pre-competition groups and a seasonal swim lessons program. The Head of 
Development will oversee the development of swimmers as they progress through our pre- varsity 
groups. The coach will evaluate new swimmers, design a season plan, lead practices, communicate 
with families, and work with swimmers and their families to guide them through their swimming 
journey. The Head of Development Coach will report to the RAC Head Coach to align session plans 
with the vision of the club.

Job Requirements:

  • Spend 5-8 hours a week on deck coaching with the developmental groups
  • Spend 5-10 hours per week on team administration, including but not limited to:
    • Staff instructors to assist with Development practices
    • Communicate with families in the Developmental program
    • Respond to and maintain communication with families interested in the Club.
    • Organize evaluations for new swimmers
  • Work with the varsity coaches to design a program for swimmers' future progression
  • Additional administrative tasks, as determined by the Head Coach

Qualities of a Successful Candidate

  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Successful at instructing, managing, and connecting with children
  • Passionate about the sport of swimming
  • Previous experience coaching or teaching swim lessons is required.

The Radnor Aquatic Club (RAC) is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization that supports the 
community through a wide array of organized swimming programs for children of all ages. The club's

Germantown Academy Aquatic Club
Part-Time Senior Assistant Swim Coach

Position Purpose:
Part-Time Senior Assistant Swim Coach (SA) will assist the Head Coach (HC) with student-athlete development, club development, and training and competition development. The SA will also assist the HC in ensuring that Germantown Academy continues to develop the best prepared student-athletes and coaches in the world. In conjunction with the HC, the SA will also ensure that GA and GAAC swimmers continue to excel at the highest levels; locally, nationally, and internationally. We are seeking candidates for a part-time position (26 hours per week) to join our community beginning August 2025. This is a 9-month position with a competitive salary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 plus years of competitive swimming/coaching experience
  • Current registered USA Swimming Coach

Coaching and Team Responsibilities:

  • assists the HC with the oversight and direction of the senior program
  • ensures that stroke instruction and training principles for the senior program remain at the forefront of the sport
  • ensures that all of the necessary training equipment to achieve individual and team goals is present
  • helps establish an environment that fosters a positive team attitude, encourages self-discipline, sportsmanship, self-control, and personal responsibility
  • lives the GA mission
  • assists the HC with the development and implementation of incentives to motivate athletes to achieve individual and team goals

Program Growth:

  • assists the HC with the recruiting of new club members
  • assists the HC with the development and distribution of recruiting materials
  • participates in the planning of and attends all fund raising activities for the club
  • actively involved in the planning, development and promotion of club hosted swim meets

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • attends all scheduled staff and administrative meetings
  • provides input to the HC for seasonal, yearly, and quad meet-planning
  • maintains continued athlete recruitment through phone calls, emails, and exit interviews
  • assists the coaching staff with all meet entries
  • has the authority to use the club credit card for expenditures that are approved by the HC/and or/office manager

Team Travel and Meet Responsibilities:

  • attends all meets that are assigned by the HC
  • assists the HC with the distribution of specific meet information to athletes, parents, and staff members in a timely manner
  • assists with the communication to parents, athletes, and staff members all important times and deadlines for swim meets
  • provides timely coaching instructions and feedback to athletes and is easily accessible throughout the entire meet
  • remains at meets until all GAAC swimmers have completed their swims or until they are no longer needed or until they are released by the HC
  • assists with the preparation of GAAC hosted meets

  • complies with the USA Swimming code of conduct
  • exudes the GA Mission at all times

10 & Under Lead Coach

Description

Hershey Aquatic Club is seeking an energetic assistant coach with a passion for swimming to train and coach our beginner groups for ages 10 and under. You will foster a safe, healthy, and positive environment to introduce our youngest swimmers to our high-quality swim program and apply your technical knowledge of the sport to plan and implement workouts enabling those swimmers to succeed in and out of the water.

Responsibilities & Requirements

· Write, oversee, and coach daily age-appropriate competitive swimming instruction focusing mainly on stroke development, technique, and endurance.

· Communicate and collaborate effectively with the Head Coach and other coaches to build and implement strong seasonal, weekly, and daily training plans consistent with the Head Coach’s philosophy.

· Consistently attend and promptly arrive to set up and prepare for daily practices.

· Foster a fun, energetic, and enjoyable environment for our swimmers to learn personal and social skills for life, while developing and improving their technical and physical skills.

· Consistently attend and promptly arrive at swim meets, as needed, to orient our young swimmers to competition.

· Develop and maintain healthy relationships with the swimmers, their parents, and other coaching staff

· Communicate effectively with group parents, including updating practice schedules, providing swim meet information, and appropriately responding to parent inquiries.

· Serve as a positive role model, by maintaining high ethical and moral standards and adhering to all rules and policies of Hershey Aquatic Club and USA Swimming.

· Attend staff meetings in person or via zoom.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

· Must have at least 3 years of prior experience as a swim coach, preferably coaching swimmers new to the sport and advanced 9-10-year-old swimmers.

· Must be able to teach and train swimmers in proper stroke techniques and race strategies, as appropriate for age and developmental level. Must be able to provide in-water instruction, when needed.

· Must have strong motivational and communication skills and the desire to implement new coaching techniques acquired in continued coaching education.

· Must be able to work various hours, including nights and weekends, and attend swim meets. Approximately 1 to 2 hours 4-5 days per week.

· Must be certified or willing and able to obtain USA Swimming certifications: CPR, Safety Training for Swim Coaches, Athlete Protection, Concussion Protocol Training, Background check, Coaches Advantage Training, Foundations of Coaching, MAAPP 2.0.

Salary

· $20.00 - $25.00 hourly depending on experience and proven success of athlete development.

· Eligible for retirement benefits after two years.

· Continued education provided.

Age Group Coaches

PENN Aquatic Club is searching for coaches for our age group swimmers (ages 7-12) on our swim team. The training goals of our age group program are stroke efficiency, technical instruction, racing skills, and team building. PENN competes as a member of USA Swimming. Hatboro Horsham Aquatic Association, located in Horsham, PA.

As an organization with over 40 years of history, HHAA takes pride in being part of the Hatboro-Horsham community. HHAA is a USA Swimming Club and participates in the Suburban Aquatic League (SAL).

HHAA is looking to expand the coaching staff as a new pool is set to open in the fall of 2025. 

Full-Time, Head Coach. HHAA has 150+ athletes and currently swims at the Simmons Elementary School Pool in the Hatboro-Horsham School District. The pool is 6-lanes, 25 yards. The new pool, located at Keith Valley Middle School in HHSD, will be 8-lanes, 25 yards and include 2 diving boards.

Job Description:
This position will be the head of the program from our Senior Group (high school swimmers) to our Age Group swimmers. The Head Coach will work with our Head Age Group coach to provide guidance and direction for all practice groups while taking the lead as the primary coach for the senior group.  Commitment is September through April (Short Course Season); April through July (Clinics and Long 
Course). 

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Head Coach Responsibilities:

  • Designing and executing the seasonal plan for the Senior and Age Group programs
  • Providing leadership and instruction to the Senior and Age Group swimmers
  • Conducting parent meetings as needed
  • Ensuring regular communication with parents

Job Description:

This position is designed to assist and support the Head Coach with the day-to-day operation of
Upper Dublin Aquatic Club. Under the direction and guidance of the Head Coach, the Head Age
Group Coach will lead and direct the Age Group program. This is a leadership position that will
support and carry out the vision, values, and behaviors of UDAC through leadership, development,

Northampton KIDS Swim Club
Assistant Coach -  Part Time

 

KIDS Swim Club is seeking a dynamic coach who is passionate and committed to teaching swimmers of all levels while creating a fun environment for learning. The Club is a year-round developmental swim program located in Northampton, Pennsylvania.   We have approximately 80 swimmers enrolled in our USA Swim Program and have seen continuous growth during the past few seasons.  In addition to our USA swim program, the club also provides year-round swim lessons to the community and runs programs during the spring and summer for swimmers of all levels. Our Assistant Swim Coach will work collaboratively with the coaching staff and Board of Directors to improve our club and promote growth for our swimmers, both in and out of the pool.
