Upcoming Board of Directors Elections

Middle Atlantic Swimming has two Board positions open for election at the

2024 House of Delegates’ meeting on April 27th.

This year, the following positions we will be elected:
 

Performance Vice-Chair – The Performance Vice-Chair advocates for MASI’s competitive opportunities that align with the strategy, mission, vision, and values while meeting the performance needs of MASI Clubs and members.  On behalf of our membership, the Performance Vice Chair ensures the competitive offerings promote growth, innovation, and excellence for the LSC and our membership.

Finance Vice-Chair – The Finance Vice Chair serves to provide short – and long-term financial oversight of the organization. With the Finance, Audit and Personnel Committees, the Finance Vice-Chair advocates for MASI’s financial well-being through, but not limited to:

• Budgeting and Financial Planning
• Reporting & Monitoring
• Internal Controls and Accountability, Transparency, and Risk Management
• Covering Audits and Investments

On behalf of our membership, the Finance Vice Chair ensures our compliance with Federal, State, Local and USA Swimming regulations. 

Junior Athlete Board Representative – The Junior Athlete Board Representative advocates on behalf of all athletes in the LSC. Serving as a liaison between MASI athletes and the Board, the Junior Athlete Board Representative will oversee the operations of the Athlete Committee and work closely with the Senior Athlete Board Representative.
