Alex Hogan our junior swimmer who joined the team in January of this year - Was chosen for her determination, sportsmanship and heart. Alex comes to practice consistently and with a great attitude. She is a joy to work with and I can see strong improvements. Congratulations Alex keep up the great work.

Kyla Rotton - Was chosen for her good nature. She is an excellent worker at practice and always seems to give 100 % effort even if she does not like the set we are doing. Kyla is a pleasure to have on the team. Kyla re-joined the team in November after 3 months off due to another sport. Morgan Miller – Our senior swimmer had a stellar state meet this month. Highlight of the meet was Morgan’s 50 yd. freestyle on finials night, where she moved up two slots, finishing 4th and established a new best time as well. She also excels in her kicking due to her flexibility in her ankles. Morgan is a great leader in the group. She continually requests to help her teammates with their strokes. She continues to focus on improvement of all four strokes achieving five new best times at the state...

MAKENZIE PEEK- Even though she has been the youngest swimmer on the team for several years. Makenzie fits in nicely with her competitive nature. She has progressed to become one of the best 8 and under that our team has produced. She has qualified for all the State and Junior Olympic meets since she was 7 years old. This swimmer has achieved many best swim times as well as achieved new swim standard times for her age group the 8 and Unders. I am excited to see the continued progress...

Congratulations to the Fernley Aquatic Swim Team (Fast) swimmers who competed at the Sierra Nevada Fall State Championships on November 9th thru November 12th held in Carson City, NV. The event had 700 swimmers competing.
