Congratulations to Lindsey Swartz (14 years old) for making her first Junior National cut in the 200 breaststroke at the "Southern Zone Age Group Championships" in North Carolina this week.   Her time of 2:39.87 qualifies her for Junior Nationals and also broke the club record which she already held earlier this year.

Pine Crest finishes in 5th place overall for the Women, and 4th place overall for the Men at this past weekend's Senior Championships at Coral Springs.   Congratulations to all swimmers who participated at this very hot meet.  Thankfully we had no weather issues, so all prelims and finals were completed.   Special recognition to the following who finished in 1st place for their events: 200 Freestyle Mens Relay (Jeff Raymond, Andy Bushell, Adam Strawford, Gotti Eisenberger) with a time of 1:34.08 which broke the FG Open Record, held since...

Congratulations to all our swimmer's that competed in this year's "14 & Under Long Course Junior Olympics" at Plantation.  We had 92 personal best times, some improving in prelims and then again during finals.   Pine Crest Swimming finished 3rd overall for the Girls Team Scores, just 4 points behind Team FLA.  Our Boys finished 11th overall for Boys Team Scores.  The Combined Team Scores placed Pine Crest Swimming in 5th place overall.   Ainsley Anderton Jack Anderton Windsor Anderton Yani Fabre Jamie Flores ** Miriyam Ghali ** Anton Gueneralov...

Congratulations to the "13-14 Girls" (Amber Lubie, Lindsey Swartz, Miriyam Ghali, and Caroline Nava) for breaking the Pine Crest Medley Relay Record, held since 2002 by over 3 seconds with a time of 2:07.88 at this past weekends 14 & Under Long Course Junior Olympics at Plantation.   Lindsey, Caroline, Amber and Miriyam   This relay team was the JO Champions and won the event by 7 seconds ahead of Team FLA.  

The final 2010-2011, National High School Rankings just came out and once again Pine Crest Swimming and Diving finished in the Top 25 in the Nation for Boys and for Girls. The Boys team final National Ranking was 5th place, and the Girls team final National Ranking was 11th.  Congratulations to all our swimmers and divers for another outstanding year.   It is Great to be a Pine Crest Panther!
