Summer season is now over. Championship Meets have concluded. Here is the Summer Championship season report. Southern Zone South Sectional Meet was held in Ocala, FL 6/26-29/2025. Hurricanes were represented by Lizzy(15), 2nd time qualifier. Lizzy qualified for the 200 Breast and was allowed 2 bonus swims (50&100 Breast). In this meet Lizzy qualified to return to finals in the 200&100 Breast. Sea Dragon May Open was a success for the Hurricanes. Lots first times swims, new Personal Best times. 12 Teammates had a good time in Pt. Charlotte over the weekend. Over this past weekend we had 12 named Hurricanes travel to St. Petersburg Northshore Aquatic Center for a Long Course Timed Finals meet. It was a hot few days with a mix of rain and lightening, but the Hurricanes kept it together and put down some nice drops. We had Reagan (13) make her first-ever FLAGs cut and did it in the 50 Fly. dropping 1.84 seconds in this event alone. Great Job Reagan!!
