118 Waves swimmers participated in our annual Red-Green Meet this past Saturday at Whitworth.  It was a fun and exciting meet—tons of team spirit, close races, and great swims. Thirty-one Waves swimmers headed down for the Jingle Bell Splash Meet in Moscow, Idaho this past weekend.  It was an exciting weekend of racing, as the 11 and older swimmers got a chance to swim prelims and finals on Saturday.  What that means is that swimmers who placed in the top 8 during the morning swims were invited back to swim again in the evening.  Whatever place they got in those finals heats were their final placing in the scoring.  Our team got 4th place, scoring 420 points—not bad considering...

The 2011 Turkey Trot was a great meet for the Waves.  115 swimmers raced to over 300 best times.  Lost of personal goals were achieved, and we were one loud and proud team.  Last year we scored 523 points as a team, this year we scored 676, over 150 more points with 3 less swimmers than last year.  Great job everyone!  Check out the results of the meet in the "my Meet Results" under the "my Account" tab on the left hand side of our website.   Congratulations Emma Thompson...
