January Storm Recap   We ended 2010 on a great meet and started 2011 on a better one.  Last year 119 events had records broken, some by multiple people.  In our first meet of the year, 26 swimmers went down to Walla-Walla to participate in the 2011 January Storm and swam 121 best times, setting 12 new team records.  The Waves placed 2nd scoring 28.0 points per swimmer, losing to Tri-Cities who had 67 swimmers, and 23.6 points per swimmer.  Those who took full advantage of Christmas Training really watched...

Day 1:  Thursday.  We woke up and left Whitworth @ 8AM, picked up our last swimmers in Cheney, and set off for the Washington Senior Championships.  Around 1:30PM we arrived at the hotel and are now unpacking and settling in.  At 2:45 we will head back to the pool to warm-up for the first races of the meet tonight. 2010 Jingle Bell Recap 61 Waves swimmers participated in the 2010 Jingle Bell Splash hosted by the Coeur d’Alene Krocs.  While most of our veteran 13&overs were preparing for another meet, the future of our team had a chance to show off.  We broke 6 relay records with a combined 17 different people.  Our 215 best times, and great racing earned our team 2nd place to the host team who had nearly double our numbers.  Keddy and I were thrilled to watch our kids swim new events and learn a...
