Welcome to the Greenwood Gators 2024/2025 short course yards season! Its been fantastic seeing the pool bustling again after a nice break. The summer long course season has come to a close, but not before the Gators ripped of so many amazing swims and brought home a load of hardware at our July meets. The Gators kicked off the 2024 summer long course championship season with a bang at the IN Swimming Swimfest State Championship meet at the IU Natatorium this past weekend. Wow what a month June was for the Gators! Many of our athletes got to witness the best swimmers in the world compete at the USA Swimming Olympic Trials at Lucas Oil Stadium. Our high school athletes took a fun filled, team building trip to Holiday World. The Gators had a pair of season firsts with our first outdoor meet at Donner followed by our first developmental dual meet. Donner saw us survive a near monsoon Saturday, but our kids fought through it and performed admirably well considering the conditions.
