At the 2025 World Aquatic Junior Swimming Championship, William Mulgrew, SAC, broke both the Boys 17-18 and Open record in the 1500 Freestyle with at time of 15:05.97. This broke both previous record times of 15:10.50 set by Erik Vendt, OSS in 1998! William also broke his own 800 Free record in the split of the 1500 Free with a time of 7:51.99. At the 2025 NE Shawmut America’s Cup Meet, Cullen Cashman, SSYS, broke the 13-14 Boys 50 LCM Breaststroke with a time of 29.76. This broke the previous record time of 30.46 Cullen becomes the first 14&Under swimmer in the history of NE Swimming to break the 30 second barrier in the 50 Breaststroke. CONGRATULATIONS CULLEN!
