Lakeview Aquatic Club (LAC) Names Kyle Lott as New Head Coach

Battle Creek, MI – Beginning with the Spring 2023 club season, Lakeview Aquatic Club has named Kyle Lott as its new head coach.  Coach Lott brings with him 30+ years of coaching experience, most recently as the head coach of Lakeview High School until he retired from the school district in 2021.  As a multiple MISCA “Coach of the Year” winner, 2021-22 Matt Mann Award Winner (Michigan’s highest award received by a Michigan coach), 26 conference championships and two high school state championships at two different schools, Kyle has fantastic experience in developing athletes to help them achieve their individual goals – be it to fine-tune their stroke technique, compete successfully in high school or USA Swim meets, or even prepare them to swim competitively at the college or national level.  Coach Lott will bring a great focus on delivering against LAC’s mission of helping every athlete reach their fullest potential.  When asked about Coach Lott joining as LAC’s head coach, Brant Kirkham replied “We are thrilled he’s decided to join LAC in this new capacity.”

Coach Andy Fredenburg will continue to coach at the junior level and will work closely with Head Coach Lott to make sure that our youngest athletes are set up to build a lifelong passion for the sport of swimming and understand what it means to be part of LAC.
