Mandarin Kraken Swim Club Fundraising Information

Team Fundraisers

One of the ways we are able to keep our registration fees reasonable is to REQUIRE each swimmer to support a mandatory fundraising fee.  Many of the other teams in the League have this required fundraising requirement for each swimmer or family. 

With all this in mind, we have decided to require the fundraising commitment of $50 per swimmer this season. This fee will be added to your account at registration at checkout and will help support the various programs below.  Your $50 per swimmer this season will help pay for: Tent at Meets and Championships, End of Season Dinner, Awards Ceremony, Swim-A-Lap, ..........

Swim-A-Lap

Swim-A-Lap is a fundraiser in which participants earn money for their team by swimming lengths of the pool. Swimmers have a two-hour period to swim a maximum of 200 lengths. Participants get pledges from businesses, family, neighbors, etc. prior to swimming.

Team Sponsors

We will also offer a second fund raising program this year, the “Team Sponsors” program. The TeamUnify system makes this very simple to do. The sponsoring business receives exposure on our web site (as well as other nearby TeamUnify teams), can make special offers and coupons available through the web site and will be listed as one of our team sponsors in the Championship meet heat sheets and awards ceremony program.

You will receive all of the information on the Swim-A-Lap and Team Sponsors in early May.
