Senior Sprint Group
For High School Aged Swimmers who specialize in the sprint events
Must talk to head coaches in order to join this group through the Columbia area HS program
5 120 minute practices a week plus Yoga
Senior Black
Advanced Training group progressing to Senior Gold with swimming being a year-round commitment
Minimum of Champs Cuts looking towards AAA, AAAA and Sectional cuts
7-8 120 minute practices a week plus SwimStrong Dryland & Yoga
For the 13 & Up swimmers with swimming as their primary sport focus
Senior White
Jr. High & High School Training group progressing to Senior Black or Senior Gold
Minimum of 13 years old and the ability to train for 90-120 minutes
6-8 120 minute practices a week including SwimStrong Dryland workouts
Advanced training skill set opportunities to help develop the complete swimmer
Senior White Lite
Jr. High & High School Training group progressing to Senior Black or Senior Gold
Minimum of 13 years old and the ability to train for 90-120 minutes
Can attend up to 3 Senior White in-water practices a week
TS Gold
Minimum of Champs Cuts looking towards AA and AAA cuts
Advanced Aerobic Training with the emphasis on 200’s of strokes and IM training
6 90 minute practices a week with SwimStrong Dryland sessions for the Top 11-12 year old swimmers
TS Black
Minimum of District Cuts looking towards Champs Cuts along with AA and AAA cuts
Advanced Training with the emphasis aerobic development, IM training and advanced technique concepts
5 75-90 minute practices a week with SwimStrong Dryland for the Top 9-10 year old swimmers
AG Gold
For swimmers working towards District Cuts ages 11-14
Technique development & learning aerobic training concepts with an emphasis on competitive development
5 75 minute practices a week along with SwimStrong Dryland sessions
Swimmers ages 11 - 14 who are newer to competitive swimming
AG Black
Swimmers ages 10 & under new to competitive swimming but working towards District Cuts
Technique development and learning competitive concepts. Fine tuning starts, turns and all 4 strokes
5 60 minute practices a week with SwimStrong Dryland for 6-10 year olds
AG Black Lite
Swimmers ages 10 & under new to competitive swimming but working towards District Cuts
Technique development and learning competitive concepts. Fine tuning starts, turns and all 4 strokes
Will attend either M/W or T/F practices - determined at time of registration
AG White
For swimmers ages 10 and under years old who are brand new to competitive swimming.
Technique development along with learning starts, flip turns, open turns and lane etiquette
4 45 minute practices a week with SwimStrong Dryland for 6-10 year olds
AG White Lite
For swimmers ages 10 and under years old who are brand new to competitive swimming.
Technique development along with learning starts, flip turns, open turns and lane etiquette
Will attend either M/W or W/F practices - - determined at time of registration
LTS White, Black & Gold
For swimmers of school age who are working on their competitive strokes
Working toward becoming legal in all 4 strokes, Technique development and streamlines
2 30 minute practices a week for kids of school age
LTS White - Freestyle focus and Backstroke body position
LTS Black - Backstroke refinement and Breaststroke arms & kick
LTS Gold - Breaststroke refinement, Fly arms and kick, Legal Freestyle (bilateral breathing) and Legal Backstroke
Juniors 1 & 2
For swimmers years old who need some fine tuning with their competitive strokes
Working toward becoming legal in all 4 strokes, Technique development, introduction to flip turns, open turns and streamlines
2 45 minute practices a week for kids kindergarten and up
Things to Remember:
Move ups are a coaching decision.
The coaches have nothing to gain by your athlete's lack of progression
Group placement is not a statement on the long term success of your child
