Competitive Senior Groups
Senior White, Black and Gold - Where we TRAIN to ACHIEVE
Senior White
Ages: 13 & Up with a minimum of 1 MV District Cut or swimmers 15 & over
Daily Training & Yardage: 120 minutes 6 days/week doing 4,000-6,000 yards
Basic Goals:
- Higher levels of aerobic training, IM training and anaerobic training
- Advance stroke technique knowledge and advancement through sets
- To qualify for Champs and strive to achieve AAA or Sectional Cuts
- Prepare for High School season
- Race 100's & 200’s of stroke, 200 & 400 IM, 500 Free and either the 1000 or 1650
Areas of Focus:
- Training for all competitive races and distances
- Developing race strategies & setting goals
Dryland Program: SwimStrong Dryland
What’s needed to Advance: Consistent attendance and achieve Champs or Sectional Cuts
Meets: Participate CSC local meets, 1-3 out of town meets, Participate in the highest level Championship meet swimmer qualifies for
Attendance: Swimmers are expected to attend 4 or more practices a week. During the holidays/summers there will doubles the swimmers are expected to attend
Senior Black
Ages: 13 & Up
Admittance: Swimmers 13 and older with 3 or more 14 & Under Champs Cuts or 1 AAA Cut, attend ALL travel meets with swimming as the main outside school focus and have a high/consistent level of work at practices
Daily Training & Yardage: 150 minutes 6-8 practices/week doing 6,500-8,000 yards
Basic Goals:
- Higher levels of aerobic training, IM training and anaerobic training
- Advance stroke technique knowledge and advancement through sets
- To qualify for Sectionals and AAAA cuts
- Race all distances of races in all strokes
Areas of Focus:
- Training for all competitive races and distances
- Developing race strategies & setting goals
Dryland Program: SwimStrong Dryland
What’s needed to Advance: Consistent attendance and achieve 1 Sectional Cut or higher
Meets: Participate in the highest level Championship meet swimmers qualify for along with all other meets the group attends
Attendance:
- Swimmers are expected to attend all scheduled practices
- Swimmers are expected to attend all SwimStrong Dryland workouts
Senior Gold
Ages: 15 & Up
Admittance: Swimmers 15 and older with at least 1 Sectional Cut, attend ALL travel meets with swimming as the main outside school focus with the highest/consistent level of work at practices
Daily Training & Yardage: 150 minutes 6-8 practices/week doing 6,500-8,000 yards
Basic Goals:
- Highest level of aerobic training, IM training and anaerobic training
- Advance stroke technique knowledge and advancement through sets
- To qualify for Junior Nationals, Senior Nationals and Olympic Trials
Areas of Focus:
- Training for all competitive races and distances
- Developing race strategies & setting goals
- Prepare for National Level of Competition
- Prepare for Collegiate Level Training

Attendance:
