The Mako Club
The purpose of The Mako Club is to act as a support and advisory group for the GCY Mako’s Swim Team, providing organization and management assistance for the team’s swim meets, social events, administrative support, media management, volunteer organization and volunteers, special events and swim team family support. The Mako Club will also act as a mechanism for swim families to communicate swimmer specific issues, practice site specific issues or general team issues to team management (coaches), the YMCA and the YMCA Board of Managers. The Mako Club will also provide a volunteer who will serve as a swim team representative on the YMCA Board of Managers.
