SAFE SPORT

Here at the O2 PERFORMANCE AQUATICS club, we strive to make your athlete's protection and safety our highest priority. By working together, we can ensure all our members are in a safe and dependable environment both in and out of the pool.

What does Safe Sport mean? Across the spectrum of all sports, concerns lie therein where personal boundaries are crossed between peers as well as coach-to-athlete relationships. Buenaventura Swim Club is a Safe Sport-compliant club and is officially recognized by USA Swimming as a Safe Sport Program. This means we have met or exceeded all requirements and protocols set forth by USA Swimming to assure vigilance and proactive, corrective measures if a sign of a reportable event occurs. This helps assure that O2 Performance Aquatics swim team provides a safe place for our young athletes to participate in sport.  We are extremely proud to have Safe Sport Recognition.

O2 Performance Aquatics strictly adheres to the policies and procedures set forth by USA Swimming.  We are committed to being "One Team, One Family" by providing a safe, healthy, and positive environment in which our athletes can thrive and grow.  The safety of our athletes comes first.  Any potential misconduct is expected to be brought to our immediate attention.
