The current issue of American Swimming Magazine is comprised of a panel discussion from the 2009 ASCA World Clinic on "Best Practices" of smaller clubs across the United States. Orinda Aquatics finished among the top teams in USA Swimming for teams under 150 members and was invited to be a part of the panel. Our team was included on the cover.

Junior Nationals Recap Orinda Aquatics finished 9th at the recent Junior National Championships in Atlanta, Georgia. We traveled with six swimmers; Courtney Whyte, Robbie Ashby, Sven Campbell, Chris Leon, Jeffrey Strausser, and Steven Stumph and made an impressive showing in what is easily the fastest 18 & under meet in the nation, if not the world. Last night Pacific Swimming honored its top swimmers from the 2009-2010 short course and long course seasons. This is quite an honor as Pacific Swimming is one of the largest and most successful LSC’s in the nation. Steven's 200 Breaststroke is also the 10th all-time fastest swim in that event for 15-16 boys in USA Swimming history. Also, Sven Campbell's 51.9 in the 100 Meter Free at Junior Nationals is ranked 48th all-time in the 15-16 boys 100 Meter Free. Sven is still 15.
