It was just announced that Orinda Aquatics earned Level 4, the highest level of achievement, in USA Swimming's Club Recognition Program. OA is only the 10th team in the Western Zone to achieve this status. The program recognizes clubs which are strong, stable, financially sound and athletically productive organizations. These are the areas deemed critical to USA Swimming for long term club success.

Ariel Thomas has just returned from the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs where she attended the National Pentathlon Development Camp and earned a 5th place finish in the Youth National Championships. She effectively competed in swimming, running, horse jumping, fencing and shooting. During the 5 days at the camp, much of her time was focused on the technical aspects of the fencing and shooting events.

Ward breaks 20-year-oid UCSB swim record LONG BEACH – Freshmen Andrea Ward and Sophia Yamauchi set school records in the 500 freestyle and 200 individual medley, respectively, on Thursday at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Swimming and Diving Championships, which are being held at Belmont Plaza.
