Best of luck to Janessa Mathews, who will compete at Nationals in Greensboro this weekend in the 100 breast (Friday) and 200 breast (Saturday). Janessa is seeded seventh in the 100 breast and 16th in the 200 breast. Stay updated on her progress here. We want to congratulate Marie Belli, Riley Huddleston, Cameron Kuriger, and Mason Peck, who will attend USA Swimming’s 2018 Central Zone Select Camp this summer at the University of Cincinnati, May 24-27. We are incredibly proud to note that Marie, Riley and Cameron are the only three female swimmers to represent Ohio Swimming at this camp, while Mason is one of only four males chosen from Ohio Swimming for this camp. Congratulations to our 83 OSSC swimmers who qualified for the 2018 Short Course Junior Olympics (14 & Under State Championships), which will be held at Miami University next weekend! We have 81 individual qualifiers and 2 relay-only swimmers (83 total) at JOs this year. We have 426 individual swims compared to 421 individual swims last year.
