What You'll Learn:
  • Master 25-yard freestyle and backstroke
  • Learn all four competitive strokes legally
  • Build confidence in the water

Ready to Join? Swimmers must be able to swim 25 freestyle and backstroke. This is our fun, supportive pre-competitive group focused on stroke development and water safety.
Meet Participation: Optional when swimmers feel comfortable and ready!

Ages 8-10 • Building Competitive Skills

What Makes This Group Special:
  • USA Swimming legal in all four strokes
  • Learning flip turns and racing dives
  • Mostly 8&U "B"-"A" times or 9-10 "C"-"B" times

  • Achieve Oregon Swimming state qualifying times
  • Master 200 IM and 200 freestyle
  • Balance strengths and improve weaknesses

Ages 9-10 • Advanced Young Competitors

  • Goal: Make State or Age Group Regionals
  • Ready for goal setting and achievement tracking
  • Love precision, aerobic work, and FUN!
Training Focus:
  • 200 IM and 200-500 freestyle training
  • Developing skills for future senior swimming
  • 4-5 practices per week recommended
Meet Participation: Expected to remain competitive and active

Ages 11-12 • Developing Technique
