TEAM DUES & FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS
Team dues and a student activity fee are assessed yearly. Fundraisers are also held each year to help defray team costs. These funds are used to purchase/cover such items as team shirts, team equipment, meet expenses, and gear for the coaches, as well as to hold team events, such as socials, the senior recognition meet, and the cost of each swimmer to attend the banquet and banquet-related expenses. The Board also purchases gifts at the end of the year for the team and for seniors. There are two required fees to be a part of the Downingtown West Swim & Dive Team:
Student Activity Fee: DASD charges an activity fee of $75 to participate on the swim team. You must pay this fee through PaySchools Central (only if you have made the team) – https://www.payschoolscentral.com/
Team Dues: The Board votes upon and sets the team dues each year based upon the anticipated needs of running the team. For the 2025-2026 season, the team dues will be as follows:
- $155 per team member.
- If a family has more than one swimmer/diver, the dues are $155 for the first member, and $130 for each additional member.
- This will be collected once you register for the team through TeamUnify and provide a credit card.
