TEAM DINNERS

 

        All athletes are expected to attend team-building events, in particular team dinners.  Team dinners are hosted the night before most meets and are typically scheduled after practice. 

  • Athletes participating in a club team practice are expected to make arrangements to attend this team-building event.
  • Team dinners are open to all swimmers and divers. You can committ to the team dinner using TeamUnify.  Please click on the events/Competition button, the scroll down to the date of the dinner, click the "Edit Commitment Button," click yes or no then hit save (you may leave any message in the notes section).
  • All athletes attending the event are expected to RSVP and bring food, drinks, or supply a donation.  A list of items will be listed under the "Job Sign Up" tab for the team dinner and you can sign up there for a donation. 
  • Hosts may plan and organize themes (for example, Italian Dinner, Taco Night, Pizza Night, etc.).  Host addresses and themes will be listed under the event in TeamUnify.
  • Families of seniors are encouraged to host the team dinners first, then juniors, etc.  However, any team member can host a dinner. 
  • A family of a senior will host the Senior Dinner after the Senior Recognition Meet, unless the Team decides to go to a restaurant.  Senior Recognition typically occurs at the last home meet and the dinner is for seniors and their parents.  
  • District and State Qualifier families will host the District and State Dinners, respectively, if they choose to do so.

        The team dinner schedule will be posted as Events on TeamUnify.  We will circulate a SignUpGenius for families to host dinners.
