Diving
West divers are always a treat to watch compete; their dives were consistently clean and scored well. Their support for each other is unmatched, every diver on deck feels the love after every single dive. Reilly Durkin earned 1st for the ladies with 4 of her 6 dives scoring 6.5-7s. Kaylie Thompson (2nd) and Mia Enterline (3rd) looked strong too; Kaylie Thompson’s inward flip is incredible to watch and Mia Enterline’s back flip, while unplanned, was one of her highest scoring dives of the meet! Nolan Dobry earned 1st for the boys and will be representing the team at Districts next month. Jamie Compher (2nd) and Liam Dennin (3rd) both get so much height off the board; the judges were clearly impressed based on the scores they earned. Special shout out to Will Vaughen for supporting his team from the sidelines as he recovers from injury. Great job divers!
Many thanks to our coaches and volunteers for making the meet happen. Our next week is away against Coatesville High School on Friday. Go Whippets!!!
