USA Swimming will refund membership fees using the following guidelines: Athlete or non-athlete refunds Refunds must be requested within 30 days of the transaction. Refunds cannot be issued for prior registration years. A request for an athlete to be changed to outreach membership with a refund for the difference between their current athlete fee and outreach can be requested at any time during the membership year from 9/1 - 8/31.
