Saturday: Saturday practice on May 29th will be as normal. Monday: Redmond Pool will be closed on Monday, May 31, Memorial Day. All groups will practice at Juanita that day. Practice Schedule will work like this: Gold, Senior, HP groups will be in the water from 4-6pm (Gold group we will do some extra dryland from 3:30-4:00) High School group will be in the pool from 6:30- 8:00pm Silver group will practice from 5:00- 6:30pm Bronze will practice from 6:30- 7:30pm 8 & Unders will practice from 5:00- 6:00pm
The rosters can be found on the event page under Forms/Documents. There will not be normal practice Friday night.
Due to our annual Wave Banquet, we will not have practice Tuesday May 18th. All the coaches (and hopefully all of you!) will be at: Robert Frost Elementary School 11801 N.E. 140th St., Kirkland, WA 98034 We banquet will start at 5:30pm. Saturday May 8th: The pool is being used for a Sychronized Swim Meet on Saturday. HP, Senior and Gold swimmers will be in at 6:00am until 7:45am. No other groups will practice that day.
We have a block of rooms set up at the Courtyard Spokane Downtown at the Convention Center. The address is 401 North Riverpoint Boulevard, Spokane, WA 99202. You can call in to (800) 228-9290 and ask for the Wave Aquatics Swim Team room block to receive the discounted group rate. The deadline for booking a room will be Thursday, May 13th.
Congratulations to Rachael Kurtz and Sage Speak for being selected to the PNS North American Cup Challenge Team. Congratulations to all Wave swimmers who participated in the meet. With over 100 of you there that day the coaches were busy, but got to see some really nice swims and some nice improvements from the kids. It was really great to see so many swimmers there!
