Christina won 7 of her 8 events on her way to the overall title for 13-14 year old girls. Her meet was highlighted by a victory over Megan Jendrick in teh 100 free! Jeffrey Lozensky dropped time in all 7 of his events at the May Flowers meet for a total of over 53 seconds in time taken off. Christina Domanowski had 6 best times at the meet as did Karlie Rimat. Abby Magee and Bindi Pedersen boasted 4 best times each. Sarp Orgul had 2 best times and Melody Coleman and Rachel Hartmeyer each had 1 best time!
It seemed like every couple of hours the announcer was announcing another Marlin Victory in a New Meet Record!! Every MAM that Swam placed in the top 6 at this years Pacific Northwest Aquatics Masters Championships in Federal Way! The Marlins again celebrated a fabulous season! The dessert raffle was a huge succes raising $425 for our Mighty Marlins and leading to extensive gum chewing! The Ludwig cake was a big hit! Most Imroved Swimmers included: Anna Veazey, Karlie Rimat, Piper Lee, Russell Swanson, Sarp Orgul, and Melody Coleman! Three Marlins won events, 7 took top 8 honors winning medals, and all 11 had best times as Marlins on route to an impressive 11th place finish in a field of over 400 teams in a 12 state area.
