Sarp Orgul has applied to private High Schools and received excellent news recently.  Here was his notification to me!  We are very proud of Sarp and his family!! Hi Kirby, I have just received acceptance letters from all three schools I applied to, Phillips Exeter, Phillips Andover, Deerfield. I would like to thank you for everything you have done for me. Jenni Domanowski swam a strong race for 5th in the 200 butterfly at the Senior Sectional Meet in Federal Way.  The meet boasts the fastest swimmers from a 12 state area and included several Olympians.  In additional to her stellar swim in the 200 fly Jenni also finaled in the 100 fly and 400 IM.  Christina Domanowski also finaled in 2 events the 200 fly and the 400 free taking 29th and 22nd.  Bindi Pedersen swam as one of the few 11 year olds at this open meet and was...

Rachel Hartmeyer was the star of day 1 at Divisional Champs taking 7th in the 200 free and 8th in the 100 backstroke.  On day 2 Karoline Schaufler had 2 top 8 finishes with a 3rd in the 100 fly and a 7th in the 200 breaststroke. Sarp orgul also made top 16 for the older swimmers with 12th in the 200 breaststroke and 13th in the 200 IM, as did Erin Delaney with a 16th in the 200 butterfly. Jeffrey Lozensky led the way dropping 46 seconds in his 1000 free at the Storm Distance meet.  Bindi dropped 30 seconds in her 1000 and swam her 1st ever 1650.  Maggie Delaney posted a 15 second time drop and Abby Magee took off more than 8 seconds.  The Marlins just keep getting stronger!!

Karlie Rimat made Sectionals in the 200 fly and 200 IM at the February Challenge at Kamiak pool!  Both were time drops of over 3 seconds.  Many Marlins had large time drops as well and Abby Magee and Jeffrey Lozensky each added 2 new Sectional qualifying times. Nathaniel Ludwig and Bindi Pedersen led the way with 7 best times each. Sarp Orgul, and Bethany Shepard had 6 each. In the first long course test of the year the Marlins proved they have the endurance for the longer races.  Jennifer Domanowski won the 200 butterfly, was 4th in the 100, 7th in the 400 free, 9th in the 400 IM, 13th in the 100 free, and 14th in the 200 IM.  Christina Domanowski scored in 3 races.  She was 4th in the 200 fly, 5th in the 400 free, and 10th in the 200 free.  11 year old Bindi rose up against much older competition to take 13th in...

Sarp Orgul broke a long standing record at the Jan. Challenge.  His time of 2:36.33 in the 200 breaststroke was a super time and 1 of 5 best times at the meet!  Other Mighty Marlins posted multiple best times.  Abby Magee and Karlie Rimat led the way with 7 best times each.  Bindi Pedersen had 6, Toria Benson and Kara Libra had 5, Kenzie Kinzey, Mel Lofton, Ben Rosenthal, Anna Veazey, and Grace Williams had 4 each, Lauren Carson, Piper Lee, Lawren Rainey, Ben Veazey, and Skyler Walker 3, Madelynn Butler,...

Mighty Marlins Dryland was a great success during the 2 weeks of Holiday Break!  12-15 Marlins showed up and did a non-stop complete body workout for 45 minutes that specifically targeted swimming muscles.  Soreness was had by all!!  We are looking to continue the dryland in some capacity in the near future so watch for details!
