Robbie Haynes was a dominate force at the Summer Grand Challenge at Titlow Pool! He won an event and placed highly in 2 others. Rebekah and Jonathan Pusateri had a good meet as well with times approaching PNS Champs qualification. Kara Koetje took a big step toward her assault of the summit of Mt. Rainier coming up this weekend, and Shelby Schuman hit a silver time!
Coach Kirby covered the 5 Kilometer course in a little over an hour and 17 minutes taking 2nd at the Lake Padden Open Water Swim. For his efforts he earned a Bobble Head in his own likeness!!

Bindi and Christina Dominated the field at the Seattle Open. Bindi won 4 events, was 2nd in 3 others and also scored a 3rd and a 4th! Christina also won 4 events, was 2nd in 4 events as well and rounded off her events with a 7th! Sarp Orgul scored in multiple events as well with a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 2-6ths! Eight Mighty Marlin Swimmer competed in the youth triathlon with some Mighty fine results! Rachel Hartmeyer won the womens division, Melody Coleman was 5th and Piper Lee took 8th in a strong 21 girl field. Thirty boys competed. Burch Walker led the Marlins with a 5th place finish, Keiran Stevens was 15th, Addison Lee 16th, Holden Berg 19th, and Keigan Stevens 26th. Way to stay strong Marlins even thoughthe 1/2 mile run became a 1 & 1/2 mile challenge!
The Mighty Marlins showed that swimmers are the best athletes around as they dominated the younger age groups of the Clear Lake Triathlon on Saturday! Jewel LeValley won the 15-19 year old age group and Karoline Schaufler took 2nd. Kara Koetje again won her age group (20-24). In the youth Triathlon Rachel Hartmeyer dominated the run portion to win the girls division! The relay of Klayton Schaufler, Trevor LeValley, and Aaron Goff was 4th overall! In a key tune up meet prior to PNS Champs the Mighty Marlins showed they are on track for a superb showing at the champs in late July. This Year we had swimmers swim a maximum of 200 lengths and recorded the time it took them to complete the 200 lengths. It led to a new enthusiasm and some really fast hard swimming. I think the goal was to get to the food at the table first but pride may have had something to do with it as well! The key is that many swimmers swam longer then they ever have and probably farther then they thought they ever could, and they now realize that they have huge...
