With only 17 swimmers at the meet the Marlins were 2nd, only outscored by perennial power KING. Several Marlins were victorious in more than 1 event.  Often times the victories were in new meet records! Bindi Pedersen and Jennifer Domanowski each won 4 events.  Bindi earned titles in the 50 & 100 fly, 200 IM, and 100 breaststroke.  Jennifer won the 100 & 200 fly and 200 & 400 IM.  Hannah Peseau was also a multiple winner in the 100 & 200 back, and 200 free.  Christina was also a 3 time...

A lot of Marlin Swimmers won awards at the Painterman Invite at our own home pool!  But the real winner was the club itself.  This meet provides our swimmers a great chance to race together and have fun, but it is also a great meet for our parents to get together as volunteers, (make some money for the club), and get to know each other and work together towards their childs success.  Congratulations, and thank you, to all those that helped make this meet a real inspiration for our swimmers. ...

The Middle Aged Marlins showed their own form of Marlin domination at their PNA Champs in Federal Way April 10th & 11th! Marcy Thill earned a medal for 3rd in the 100 backstroke battling through a blowout of her goggles.  She also took 5th in the 100 breast and 10th in the 100 IM! Jan Coleman took silver for 2nd in the 100 breast and also scored a 5th in the 50 breast and 7th in the 100 IM! Kirby Schaufler utilized the strength he gained trying to keep up...

The Marlins Celebrated an amazing Short Course Season Friday Night April 9th at the beautiful Magnolia Hall.  Most Outstanding medal award winners included: Leah Taylor, Bindi Pedersen, Christina Domanowski, Jeffrey Lozensky, Hannah Taylor, Morgan Ginnis, Jennifer Domanowski, Hannah Peseau, and Oliver Durand!  Most Improved medal winners included: Maggie Delaney, Mel Lofton, John Snider, Rebekah Pusateri, Sarp Orgul, Rachel Hartmeyer, Jonathan Pusateri, and Andrew Winquist! Things went so quickly the swimmers looked a little blurry in all pictures! Over $400 was raised at the dessert auction conjured up by Katy Magee! ...

There were 2 meets in one at the Divisional Champs!  The 12 & under swimmers swam a pentathlon and the 13 & over swimmers swam a prelims finals meet.  Over 60 swimmers swam in each age group in the pentahlon.  Of the 10 seperate divisions the Mighty Marlins took the overall title in 4 of those divisions.  For the girls Leah Taylor won for 8 & unders, Bindi Pedersen won for 9 year olds, and Abby Magee took the 10 year old title!  For the boys Sarp Orgul was the 12...

Several Marlins had top 8 finishes at this championship of a 7 state area.  Christina Domanowski led the way with victories in the 200 IM and 200 & 500 free.  She also had a 3rd, 4th, and 5th place finish.  Bindi Pedersen scored in 4 events with; 6th in the 50 breast, 7th in the 100 fly, and 8th in the 50 fly and 100 breast.  Jeffrey Lozensky took 8th in the 200 IM and 500 free, and Madi Rossnagle was 3rd in the 50 breaststroke!  Melody Coleman, Abby Magee, Sarp...

Six Marlins made the trek to Orlando Florida to swim at the NCSA Junior Nationals.  All had at least one best time and two Marlins made it to the finals session where the top 32 swimmers battled it out.  Hannah Taylor had two finals swims.  She had a great drop in the 400 IM to finish 23rd and also finaled in the 200 IM with a 24th place finish!  Jennifer Domanowski took 31st in the 200 fly at finals the first day.  Morgan Ginnis's best showing was a best time...

Spencer Girard was the lone Marlin representing the team at the Senior Sectional Meet in Federal Way.  He set a new Marlin record in the 100 breaststroke with a blistering 1:00.48 placing 39th. Way to go Spencer!

In an unexpected show of Frivolity the morning practice swimmers, 25 strong, showed up in some pretty interesting swim caps!  Reportedly the coach was surprised and very touched.  Thank you to all the Mighty Marlin Swimmers and Parents for making this the best team in the land!

Several Marlins placed in all 6 of their events at the Age Group Invite Feb 27th and 28th.  Hannah Taylor led the way with 3-1sts, 2-2nds, and a 4th.  Morgan Ginnis had 2 victories 2-2nds and a 5th and 9th.  Bindi Pedersen had 3-2nds, a 3rd, an 8th, and a 10th.  Christina Domanowski scored 3-2nds a 3rd, 5th, and 7th.
