Swim-a-ThonTM is our biggest and only fundraising event of the year where swimmers earn money for our team by swimming lengths of the pool. Swimmers collect pledges from businesses, family, and neighbors prior to swimming. Kings, Dream, Believe, Achieve, and Perform swimmers have a 2-hour period to swim a maximum of 200 lengths (5,000 yards). Swim-a-ThonTM participants can earn cool prizes from the USA Swimming Foundation and from KSC; plus, qualified teams are automatically entered into the Swim-a-ThonTM contest where you'll have the opportunity to earn prize packages . ....
We have some final planning along with reminders, updates, and news, as our swim season comes to a close. Our last day of swim practice, for this session, will be May 26th. Hello All! 10 Days until SwimaThon. So far our of the 51 Swimmers required to participate (Kings and up) only 17 swimmers have raised money so far. Smolts are not required to participate, but thanks to those that have! This fundraiser is our only one, so we really hope this can be a team effort. A little bit goes a long way. Hello Fearless Fundraisers! Two weeks left until Swim-a-thon. Please keep harassing your family, friends and neighbors. We are only about half-way to meeting our goal of $18,000. Who Wants Gummy Bears? Apparently, Sean Johnson, Carly Nelson, Jeremiah Overdorf, Benjamin Overdorf, and Xander Roth did! These athletes were able to raise at least $400 by March 30th. That is quite the accomplishment. Their efforts helped start out this year's Swim-a-ThonTM fundraising event the right way! On this last day of March, KSC has raised $5,785 of our $18,000 goal.
