Three athletes chose to race the grueling 800m freestyle. All three of them swam hard and earned best times. Stephanie Cairns competed first an took off six seconds, clocking in at 10:19 which was not only faster than the Age Group Championship per-requisite, but she also qualified for Ontario Festival.
