26 CW Swimmers Achieved Top 10 Standings at Regionals (GO WARRIORS!)
The weather cooperated beautifully to make for a smooth ride to Windsor for 31 CW Swimmers attending the three-day 2022 Western Region Long Course Championship at WIATC. Many swimmers came away with personal bests; what an achievement to take time off after having just swam at meets 2 weeks ago.
For many in the 12/Under afternoon session, this was their first experience at Regionals, and though there were some nerves, there was no shortage of excitement and fantastic effort! The swimmers all rallied to cheer on their teammates from the first event to the last, showing true team spirit and CW pride.
The morning and evening sessions provided excellent races, with the 13/Over swimmers participating in many exciting races, including those in the fan favorite swim off races. The stands were full of cheers and applause as the spectators were treated to some exhilarating races!
Exceptional effort by all CW participants!
