The Age Group International Meet hosted by Etobicoke's ESwim club took place November 10-13. This was a very competitive meet featuring ESwim as well as Markham, Mississauga, Richmond Hill and Ramac. These teams have swimmers that train with the high performance teams and are considered Olympic hopefuls. This level of competition made for a very exciting meet.

There are two parts to every swim meet; the results (below) and the effort leading up to a meet. Our Elite team worked extremely hard both in the pool and out. They had been looking forward to this meet. Sadly, the team was slammed with the flu the week before the meet. Though Russ was definitely "health first" leading into the meet, half of our team was out sick or recently recovered.

A massive congratulations to the ENTIRE Elite team, including those who had to miss the meet, because they all give it everything they have.

Below are our swimmers who placed in the top 5

NOTE: We swam Thursday through Saturday with finals. Sunday morning we swam preliminaries only - those great swims are not captured as they didn't officially place without finals.
