3 New Club Records Set This Season
Club Warriors is proud to announce that one relay and two individual club records have fallen this season, so far.
The latest came from our Boys LC 4x50-m Freestyle Relay team, Cristian Ciorogariu, Jack Lu, Andrei Ciorogariu, and Evan Hodson, who crushed a December 2019 club record on their way to winning Gold at the MAC Winter Invitational in January. This placed the team 4th fastest in Canada this season when they logged the time.
At the Pointe-Claire team travel meet last December,
Willow Coburn beat a decade-old Girls 15-17 100 Breaststroke SCM record set by alumni and our Age Group Coach, Hayley Hess. Way to go, Willow!
And who can forget
Jessica Dreghici who swam the 1500-m Freestyle two lanes down from world record holder, Katie Ledecky, at the
FINA World Cup in Toronto in October. Jessi broke her own Girls Open short course club record and came 7th overall in this event.
