Age Group 2 (12 years old & under)
Practice Days: practices are offered Monday-Friday; attendance is recommended 3-4 days per week.
Initial Ability: to swim all four strokes legally for at least 50 yards as well as 100IM with correct turns, starts, and finishes, and 200y free with flip turns.
Group Description:
- Know how to read basic pace clock sets.
- Swimmer/Instructor Expected Ratio: 30 to 1
- Continued development on proper stroke, start, turn, and finish techniques
- Continued development of clock skills and interval training
- Participation in monthly meets is recommended.
- Striving to attain B/BB times in at least 4 events. [Age Group Time Standards]
Required Equipment: kick board, swim fins, pull buoy, and swim snorkel.
Age Group 1 (12 years old & under) [Most advanced of Age Group Group]
Practice Days: practices are offered Monday-Friday and most Saturdays; attendance is recommended 4-5 days per week.
Initial Ability: demonstrate proficiency in all fundamental techniques, starts, and turns for all four strokes as well as 200IM.

- Proficient in training skills like interval training and speed control.
- Swimmer/Instructor Expected Ratio: 30 to 1
- Continued work on proper stroke technique in all four strokes.
- Develop aerobic training principles.
- Year-round commitment is encouraged.
- Participation in monthly meets is recommended.
