Good Evening! Just a couple weekly updates to share with everyone - Normal practice schedule this week, no changes! Swim meets and time trials have all been posted to finish up our 2024-2025 swim season. There may be some small changes or additions but that is most likely the rest of our schedule! There are a variety of USA Long Course meets including local and travel meets to help with everyone’s busy summer schedules. Good morning! This weekend - Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th, Greenhill will be closed for maintenance/cleaning. The 10-12 Greenhill group on Saturday will move to Athletic Republic for a dryland workout 10-11:30am. The 12-1 Greenhill group will move to LAfitness Walnut/Skillman and practice at the same time. On Sunday all Greenhill groups will move to LAfitness Walnut/Skillman and practice at the same times as normal. There will be no Black group makeup time this weekend. Good morning! We have a few weekly updates to share with everyone - Last week we had 12 swimmers qualify and compete in the North Texas Championships in Arlington,TX. We had a great showing with swimmers having huge time drops, relays earning top place finishes and new team records being set! We scored the most points at this level of competition than we ever have (over double the points of our previous highest total). Good morning! We have a few weekly updates to share with everyone - All practices are back to normal now after the Dallas winter storm! The Preston Playhouse pool is closed for renovations so all practices at this pool during the weekdays will move to LAfitness on Coit/GB and Sundays at Preston Playhouse will move to Greenhill School! Updated Practice Cancellations - Due to the weather and a swim meet taking place this weekend in Oklahoma - there will be NO scheduled swim practices Friday or Saturday this weekend. We will be back to normal Sunday. All Sunday Preston Playhouse practices will be moving to Greenhill School on a permanent basis, this will allow those swimmers to work on dives off the blocks and have additional pool space. IMPORTANT! All swim practices will be cancelled tomorrow. All pool locations have said they will be closing tomorrow due to potential weather. They hope to reopen Friday. If there are any more practice cancellations this weekend we will send out another email blast. The swim meet in OKC will still be happening and coaches will be there. Just a reminder from previous emails, last few practice updates as we finish up the holiday break - There will be no 10-12p practice group at Greenhill tomorrow due to the midseason fitness testing taking place at Sports Academy in Plano. Please arrive for 10:45/10:50am, dryland workout and testing will start at 11:00am. Everything will conclude around 12:15-12:30pm. The 12-1p group at Greenhill will still take place.
