USA Swimming is running a new information series called the ABC’s of Mental Training. They will be running a new story every two weeks. In the first installment, A is for Anxiety, Sport psychologist Aimee Kimball, PhD discusses anxiety and how to overcome it. B is for Building Your Mindset. In the second installment of the A-B-C's of Mental Training, Dr. Kimball answers questions about how to create a positive mindset.

Congratulations to Michael Tucci and Diego Cabrera for being accepted to the University of Florida. Michael Tucci Diego Cabrera Michael has also made finalist standing for the National Merit Scholarship.
Sunday morning was another busy session for PST. Courtney Randolph made finals again in the 200 Fly (2:25.97). She will be seeded in 22nd place. Cheriesse Campbell dropped 6 seconds in the 800 Free (9:17.90), finishing in 13th place. PST’s other distance entry, Dylan Marsolek, finished the 1500 Free in 17:24.70. That time placed him in the 27th position.
Courtney Randolph finished her amazing meet with a 2:25.16 in the 200 Fly, finishing in 20th place. The men’s 400 Free Relay of Said Mosquera, Michael Tucci, Alec Wathen and Dylan Marsolek came in 11th with a time of 3:49.24.
Courtney Randolph again was in the finals, swimming both the 200 IM (2:26.81) and the 200 Breast (2:48.18), finishing in 20th and 19th place respectively. Both swims were personal bests. Said Mosquera, Michael Tucci, Alec Wathen and Dylan Marsolek teamed up again in the 400 Medley Relay (4:14.67), finishing in 10th place.
Saturday morning was a busy session for the Plantation Swim Team at the 2009 Missorui Grand Prix. After finaling in the 400 IM last night, Courtney Randolph followed up with a 2:27.68 in the 200 im, placing her in the C Final. In her second event of the morning, Courtney swam a 2:51.08 in the 200 Breast, also making the C Final. Battling a cold, Jessie Randolph swam the 200 IM (2:44.49). Courtney Randolph became the only FGC swimmer to qualify for the A Final in the 2009 Missouri Grand Prix on day one of the meet. Courtney will be in 6th place going into the 400 IM final with a preliminary time of 5:02.77, a best time by almost 6 seconds. Courtney also went a best time in the 200 Free (2:10.08) earlier in the session.
