What is Masters?
KATY Aquatics Masters is an adult fitness swimming program. We cater to all levels of adult swimming abilities (age 18 and up). This program is for adult fitness swimmers, adult competitive swimmers, tri-athletes and adults who are dedicated to improving their fitness through swimming. Our Masters Program provides resources and activities to help swimmers maintain a lifelong interest in swimming. Masters practices are professionally coached and emphasize on endurance and stroke technique, in a positive group effort with motivated adults.
Tryouts
We offer a week long trial period for you to come and see how our program works. During this week, we invite you to hop in the pool and join the workout! You should bring a swim suit, goggles, a swim cap, and maybe a little curiosity about Masters Swimming.

Please note: Masters Swimming is not a “Learn-to-Swim” program. If you have never had any formal lessons and cannot swim a lap, we can put you in touch with instructors who will help you become more comfortable and better equipped to join a Masters Swimming practice.
Fees
In order to join our Masters Program, you will need to register separately with KATY Aquatics and with U.S. Masters Swimming. The yearly registration fee for KATY Aquatics is $50, and the yearly registration fee for U.S. Masters Swimming is $40.
There is also a monthly coaching fee of $83 that will be charged to your account on the 1st of each month.
Registration
To register you must complete the KATY Aquatics Registration Form by clicking Register Here under 2024 Masters Registration, under the Events Tab or you can Click here to register.
You will then need to go to www.usms.org and register with U.S. Masters Swimming.
Once both registrations are completed, you will receive an email confirmation that your registration has been accepted, and you will be notified of when you may start swimming practice.
Below are the following steps you should follow when registering for our Masters Program:

3. ___ Register online with U.S. Masters Swimming
4. ___ Pay the U.S. Masters Swimming Registration Fee
5. ___ Receive confirmation email
6. ___ Begin Swimming
Practice Times
For practice times, please go to the KATY Aquatics homepage and click on the Groups & Schedules Tab. You can also view the current schedule by clicking on the "This Week" button located on the right-hand side of our homepage.
Team News and Updates
We use an email distribution list to disseminate information such as schedule changes, upcoming events and news. You can also check our website for meet information and swimming tips.
