It’s HERE! Fundraising for -A-Thon Officially Begins Today, January 30, 2024!
On Saturday, March 23rd all of our competitive athletes will to help raise funds for our team as they strive to complete up to 200 laps in two (2) hours! -A-Thon is our largest fundraiser each year, and the funds raised will help support the team’s future financial plan.
-A-Thon is an 8-week campaign where mers can raise money through Individual Sponsorships, Online Donations, Corporate Sponsorships, or Corporate Matching. The Team Goal is to raise $85,000 for our club, and our objective is to actively involve each mer in this fundraising effort.
Online Fundraising is now open on our website. This years -A-Thon will be contactless. All donations can be made on our website.
To create your mer’s online donation page, all you need to do is log into your family account at www.katyaquatics.org
and click on the Fundraiser Banner on our homepage. From here, choose your mer from the ‘Participant’ box to begin the setup of your mer’s profile.
Attached to this email is the -A-Thon Fundraising Packet for your reference. This packet has details about setting up your mer’s online donation page, sponsorships, collection envelopes, corporate matching and prize incentives!
You can also click on the ‘Fundraiser Tab’ on our homepage to access all you need to know about -A-Thon.
Each family (not individual mer) is required to raise a minimum of $125 for -A-Thon. If your family is only able to raise a portion of the $125 minimum, your Katy Aquatics Account will be charged for the remaining difference on your Invoice after the fundraiser has ended.
We sincerely ask that you support Katy Aquatics and our goal by encouraging your mer to raise money through -A-Thon. This event has always been a fun time for all mers, coaches and parents and we expect this years event will be even better!
