  Waves Expand Partnership with Spokane Fitness! The Waves are pleased to announce an expanded agreement with Spokane Fitness that will add another practice facility for Age Group, Ripple, and Recreation swimmers. Additionally, any Waves family members that wish to join Spokane Fitness will be offered the corporate rate, opening the door for parents and other family members to work out while their swimmers practice. AGS is a qualifying meet for the western section. From Alaska to Hawaii, Oregon to Montana, 174 teams brought over 1700 kids from around the region bring the fastest age group swimmers to compete at one of the best pools in the nation. Senior Sectionals was an intense, fast, and very productive meet.  We had 10 kids head over to Federal Way Washington to do battle with the 940 fastest swimmers west of the Mississippi.  Just to clue you in on how fast this meet was, (and how well some kids did), our own Emma Schanz raced right next to World Record holder and Gold medalist, Missy Franklin.  Here are a few of the highlights of the weekend. Shamrock Shook Up! The 2013 Shamrock Shake Up is in the books, and it was one of the best performances in recent memory. Over 150 Waves swimmers attended the meet, with 124 of our swimmers swimming at least 1 lifetime best. Additionally, we had several swimmers achieve Sectional cuts, broke 7 team records, and numerous meet records.
