By the Numbers: 112 Best times, 10 team records, 1 hot hot weekend. The Waves sent 39 swimmers to the Starlight Invitational in Wenatche. We swam about as hot as the weather. 10 team records were set by a combination of Tommy Madill and Kelton Ellis. Kelton threw down on the 11-12 boys 200 Back, and Tommy Madill managed to rewrite the 50 and 100 of every stroke (Fly, Back, Breast, Free) then put it all together in the 200 IM for his final record. Anybody need their car washed? You can get a good quality car washed and help our Senior Zones team this Saturday the 14th from 10am to 2pm. We’re going to be at the Cennex by Rosaurs at 2020 W. The best part is we are going to be selling them right at retail price, plus a portion helps out our own team! Summer Solstice Recap: The weather held strong as we competed in many of the kids first summer meet. It all kicked off on Friday with 91 swimmers, 376 best times, 10 team records, and a whole lot of fun. Now that School is out, I’m really looking forward to getting everyone outdoors and able to get more time in the 50M pool. We had an outstanding meet from a performance side, swimming to almost 80% best times for the 14&U, and almost 50% best times for the 15&O crew. ...
