Summer Solstice Recap: The weather held strong as we competed in many of the kids first summer meet.  It all kicked off on Friday with 91 swimmers, 376 best times, 10 team records, and a whole lot of fun.  Now that School is out, I’m really looking forward to getting everyone outdoors and able to get more time in the 50M pool.  We had an outstanding meet from a performance side, swimming to almost 80% best times for the 14&U, and almost 50% best times for the 15&O crew. ...

Tri-Cities Recap:   The Waves sent 31 swimmers to the Tri-Cities, the represented well, made over 111 best times, and Izzy Madill broke the team record in the 13-14 girls 200 Fly!  We had 10 new kids qualify for champs this summer, and many of them swam some big races for the first time.  It will be an awesome It will be very exciting to finally get into the 50M Witter pool in a few weeks!  Great work everyone!  (The picture is Izzy on her way to breaking the team record!)...

The FINA  World Masters Championships are held every two years and this year in Riccione, Italy. It lasts from June 3 until June 17 and includes: diving, synchronous swimming, water polo, open water and competitive swimming. Competitive swimming runs from June 10-17. Overall there are more than 12,600 competitors of which roughly 9000 are competitive swimmers. Boise Recap. We piled into vans, drove 7.5 hours, across state and time-zone lines to compete at the Boise Spring Fling.  15 kids, 1 coach, and 3 chaperones got out and raced a grueling schedule.  The first day was the Mile or 400IM.  Then it was followed up by the 800 the next day and the 400 the final day.  Around those other events were many of the other races.  Despite it being a very hard schedual, the first time they raced in a 50M pool this year, we raced...
