The Waves received two big annual awards this past weekend at the Inland Empire Swimming (IES) House of Delegates meeting in Moses Lake. Cindy Merrick (pictured on right) was named Volunteer of the Year for the 2011-2012 season, while Teri Madill was named Official of the Year. In addition to these awards, Head Coach Kevin Wang was named to the IES Executive Board as the Senior Swimming VIce Chairman. Waves Begin Partnership with Spokane Fitness The Waves are pleased to announce an agreement with Spokane Fitness that will add another practice facility for Age Group, Ripple, and Recreation swimmers.  The partnership will also allow for morning swimming and weightlifting sessions for our Senior group. Additionally, any Waves family members that wish to join Spokane Fitness will be offered the corporate rate, opening the door for parents and other family members to work out while their swimmers practice.
