Many records fell during the 2016 Short Course New England Senior Championships at WPI: The BGSC Girls 200 free relay of Jacey Hinton, Cathleen Li, Isabella Garbacz and Maddie Wallis set new NE and RES Open records! Their time of 1:34.34 broke the previous records of 1:34.39 set by the BGSC relay of Wallis, Li, Julimar Avila and Rhi Jeffrey. The Badgers Girls 200 free relay of Carly Cummings, Quinn Scannell, Kimberly Jogis and Paula Anne Scanlan set the NE 15-18 record with a 1:34.94 breaking the record of 1:35.10...

At the NSSC Trials/Finals Meet this weekend, Audrey Zhang (BGSC) broke the NE 10 & under 100 IM record. Her time of 1:05.72 surpassed the previous record of 1:06.25 set by Connie Brown (MVP) back in 1995! At the Bowdoin Open: Kerrigan Hemp (ANA) set a new 13-14 RES 100 back record. Her time of 55.39 surpassed the record of 55.90 set by Kaitlin Harty (GMSC) in 2011. The PHX 13-14 Girls 400 free relay of Allegra Walker, Emily Clements, Grace Walker and Callie Breiter swam a time of 3:31.99...

This weekend at the OLY Invite in Indianapolis, Natalie Mannion (CS)broke two 11-12 RES records. Her time of 52.42 in the 100 free broke the record of 52.55 held by Paige Crimmin (CBS) since 1997! Natalie also broke her own RES 50 back record of 27.72 with a new time of 27.62! Congratulations!

The NES Awards banquet, to be held on October 1, 2017 and will recognize the top 10 swimmers in each age group, (ages 9/10, 11/12, 13/14, 15-18, open) in each event that is offered at the AG Championship meets (which are the valid USA Swimming top 16 events). Five swimmers in each age group will be named outstanding swimmers. At WPI this past weekend, The ABF 11-12 Boys 400 free relay of Landon Him, Erik Watka, Tyler Lutz and Ryan Shute swam a time of 3:41.13 breaking th3e previous NE and RES records of 3:42.47 set by the CRA team of Lucas Radouch, Aidan Oi, Chris Downing and Julian Asuaje-Solon in 2009.
