At the SSA-SEEK Summer Kickoff at Brown this weekend, Anthony Minickiello (KYD) continued his record-breaking with a time of 28.96 in the 11-12 boys 50 yard fly. This time breaks the NE and RES records of Shane Raymond (CCSC) of 29.08 set back in 1991! Congratulations! Max Miranda (ABF) broke yet another record! His time of 58.66 in the 13-14 100 fly, breaking his own NE record of 58.78 set last year! Nice job!

At the Showcase Classic last week, Kasja Dymek (GS), who is only 13, set a new RES record in the 13-14 100 fly. Her time of 55.54 breaks the record of 55.82 held by Isabella Reis (EST) since 2011! Congratulations!

At Speedo Sectionals in Buffalo, ABF had a record breaking weekend. Max Miranda broke FIVE 13-14 RES records. Max broke his own 100 meter Fly record of 58.75 with a new time of 58.00, his own 13-14 RES 400 meter IM record with a time of 4:39.60, his own 200 meter fly record of 2:04.25 with a new time of 2:03.91, his own 100 meter free with a time of 54.72 and Brian Poon's 200 meter IM record of 2:11.65 with a new time of 2:10.10. At NCSA's, Liam Egan (CRIM) set new 15-18 and Open RES records in the 200 yard free with a time of 1:36.79 breaking his old records set in December! At Speedo Sectionals in Ithaca, Calvin Yang (CRIM) broke his own 13-14 RES record in the 200 yard breaststroke. His time of 2:06.93 breaks his record of 2:07.60 set last week. Congratulations!

To all New England Swimming Members, At the House of Delegates meeting on May 3rd, there will be elections for several Board of Directors positions. The Nominating Committee is currently taking nominations for these positions to be considered for the slate at the meeting. The deadline to be considered for the slate is Friday, April 4th.
