We are pleased to announce 22 of our swimmers have posted 66 swims that rank in Metros top 25 List for this Long Course Season. With over 10,000 swimmers in the Metropolitan Conference of USA Swimming, this is a truly notable accomplishment and a fitting reward for each swimmers dedication of time and hard work. About 100 yards from the beach, teams from 7 countries and 13 US states gathered at the Hall of Fame Pool for the last meet to be held here before it is closed, demolished and a new, modern facility is built. All of the swimmers did great honor to the facility by swimming fast. The event was great and the venue was awesome. The bonding between swimmers, parents and coaches was excellent. With two regular season meets and two championship meets left to go, Seven Patriot Swimmers have qualified to represent Metropolitan Swimming at the Eastern Zone Championships in August, in Rochester, NY. This is the largest number we have had to date, and we are expecting a few more to join that special group before the end of the Junior Olympics. ........International Meet being held at the International Swimming Hall of Fame in Fort Lauderdale Florida this weekend. 15 of our swimmers will take on swimmers from 44 teams from around the country and around the world. Coming off some great performances at the Express meet, we expect fast swimming and additional championship cut times from this great group. If you weren't at this meet, you missed a huge opportunity to excel, as well as the pleasure of viewing an exposition of Excellence by our swimmers. On Monday, June 17th at 5pm, we will have a mandatory meeting for all members of the Senior Team. Parents are encouraged to attend. The major topics of discussion will be attendance requirements for the 2013/14 Season and strategies for balancing HS and USA swim committments while maximizing performance.

Our Summer schedule will begin Tuesday, June 25th and continue through the end of July. Our earlier hours will enable our swimmers to work summer jobs, particpate in summer camps and in summer swim teams.
