If you are in the Saturday AM session of this weekends meet, please bring your concession items with you and drop them off at the snack bar.   If you will not be at the meet, but have signed up for snack bar items, bring them to the practice pool Friday Evening. Everyone should Put their name on the items with a marker, so we can be sure to properly credit you.  

The Short Course JO Meet format has been changed and will no longer include 15-18 year old swimmers. On the same days and the same location, 15-18's will participate in their own event called the "15-18 Age Group Team Championship."   It will be 1 session each day in a timed finals format. Two of the meets we had selected for our Short Course Meet Schedule have been removed from the Metro Schedule.  The 10/26-27 Hydro Meet @ Lehman and the 11/30-12/1 NDAC Meet were cancelled by the meet hosts.  As a result, we have adjusted our Meet Schedule as follows: The weekend of 10/26-27 will be a free weekend On the Weekend of 11/1-3, all groups will attend the NY Sharks Meet at Felix Festa, instead of the BGNW 8 & under and Distance meet.  Dear Patriot Families: I hope everyone has enjoyed the break and your ready to get back to swimming!!   Just a quick reminder about mandatory equipment for all groups.  Please take the time to review the required equipment list for the upcoming season.  October 1, 2013 training groups will no longer be able to utilize the training equipment at the practice facilities.  This is occurring to streamline the training process and make workouts more efficient.  Please place your equipment order TODAY!!!!   PATRIOT STAFF!!                                                                                 

With the completion of the Eastern Zone Long Course Championships, the 2013 LC Season has drawn to a close for all our swimmers. Congratulations to Kaitlyn, Lauren, Matt, Marc and Donna for representing our Team so well! They all improved their time in at least one event, and they all were chosen to represent Metro in at least one Relay at Finals. Looking forward to an exciting 2013/2014 SC Season! Congratulations to our own graduated Senior Blair Wegescheide for qualifying for two finals at the 2013 Speedo Super Sectionals in Buffalo this weekend! The highlight was her 2.21 second drop in the 100 Back which secured a ninth place in the finals! Blair is entering her second year at the University of Pittsburgh, and we have been very excited to have her back in familiar waters at the Beacon pool over the summer. Way to go Blair!!

We are happy to announce there will be no tuition increase this year.  USA Swimming will be increasing their registration fee by $1 This year we are adding an early registration opportunity to our normal registration process.
