GCY SWIM TEAM: Saturday May 18thPractice Update: We have an all team swim meet that was offered for this Saturday, May 18th, here in Greensboro at the GAC (YBAC Spring Invitational). We will only be having a MASTERS practice from 7:00am-8:30am (normal times). Anyone not entered in the meet may swim at the MASTERS TIME (ages 13&up only); all other practices are cancelled (not scheduled). The 11thAnnual Black Heritage Championships in Cary, NC take place May 25-26, with an entry deadline of May 15th. The GCY Makos have had a long history of continual support for this meet and will continue to do so. Swim Team Family and Friends, Our Community Support Campaign is near the end but there is still time to give!!!! We have raised $3050 towards our team goal of $5000. Every year the Bryan YMCA provides children the opportunity to have a place to exercise and learn valuable life long lessons. It also provides scholarships for our swim team of which many could not afford without scholarship. When you give to the Bryan Y campaign it provides some funding for our swim team scholarships regardless of the practice site. If...

All of this week's afternoon practices, for Monday through Thursday, April 1st - 4th, will be at normal sites and times. All morning practices this week will be at normal times at Bryan YMCA only, not at the GAC. The GAC will be closed all week for YMCA Nationals, so there are no morning or afternoon practices at the GAC.
